Erase & Reset is a twelve hours concert with nonstop experimental electronic music - the third edition is taking place at Sophiensaele Berlin.

The 8 artists are playing a 12-hour marathon and will constantly reconfigure themselves in all possible duo combinations resulting in 28 different sets. At the beginning of the night each participant will be playing a short solo set. Every set lasts for 20 minutes with no breaks inbetween. There will be a constant stream of sound from beginning to end. Extremely diverse attitudes and playing styles are colliding, creating unexpected and risky musical constellations. / Erase & Reset 2009 again presents a representative selection of international artists. All of them have furthered the development of experimental electronic music throughout the past years and are representatives of a broad variety of musical styles. / The audience is invited to freely move throughout the room, pick a quiet spot, trade places, bring their sleeping bags & stay over the complete night, … / Although it is possible to enter and leave the space at any time, we would like to create a focused listening environment that is able to reflect the musical sensitivity and that allows the audience as well as the musicians to perceive the passing of time throughout the night.
